What is the apocrypha? The word "apocrypha" is ancient Greek for "hidden", and refers to a collection of Bible books that have proven controversial over the years.
For Roman Catholics, these books are canonical, meaning that they are as important as any other Bible books. To early protestants such as Martin Luther, these books were deuterocanonical - important enough to include in the Bible, but he placed them in their own section so that they were explicitly separate from the rest of the Bible.
Today, the apocrypha remains a source of fascination for many Christians: it documents several Hebrew traditions unheard of elsewhere in the Bible, it adds history to the books of Daniel and Esther, and it provides teaching that inspired great people such as Christopher Columbus and John Bunyan.
This app presents the full apocrypha in the Authorized King James translation, giving you these books:

Nice to have this app to "complete the Bible" - as the Bible app I have did not include these documents. Thank you. Aesthetically, I must say, the appearance of the word, " BACK" in massive letters at the bottom of each page is deplorable. Please remove this. The present version, with the distracting massive font, unfortunately is so intrusive that I will refrain from using it until refinements are made.
I purchased this app and it did not download on my phone but went into a cloud which I do not use so it was a waste of money.
This is a very good app. It is easy to navigate to the chapters and verses in various books. It is organized well in traditional order and you always know what book you are in. However, I recommend an update where an individual will have the opportunity to listen to a reader if they so choose. I also recommend including a dictionary in this app so that I could look up words I cant define. Hence, my reason for awarding it with 4 stars. Looking forward to an update so that I could give this app 5 stars.
Its very good at a basic level, but I do wish you could bookmark and highlight verses within the text. I also wish that there was a search capability, something else sorely lacking.
Simple, not like that garbage app mobifusion has. This app should be updated for a search and highlight option.
